What are the differences between closed shell and open shell furnaces?

Eclosed type furnace forms a solid structure, which can better bear strength and lifespan.Also, it can screen the outgoing magnetic flux, reduce flux leakage.Importantly,closed shell is useful for dust/dirt isolation, then decrease the risks of electric arc or leakage.Besides,about 30% down in noise to the open type leakage.

However, if we not consider the open type furnace which is convenient to repair,mounts of shortcomings comes.Firstly, poor strength,will go distorted after long term use, working life of induction coil and lining will also be affected.Secondly, dust/dirt bearing metal elemant will be likely absorbed to the induction coil surface, increasing risk of electric arc. Third, electric magnetic fulx will leak between the magnetic yoke and harm the operators.Finally,molten splash in more likely to land on the hose, cable and induction coil surface,jeopardising the system.
